Position Overview
We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the team building pioneering infrastructure for secure, privacy-preserving data use. In this role, you’ll guide the development of open-source technology that enables safe data sharing and computation—unlocking value without sacrificing privacy. What You Need

• Proven engineering leadership experience, ideally overseeing teams working on distributed systems, security, or data-intensive applications.
• Deep knowledge of privacy-enhancing technologies (e.g., federated learning, secure multiparty computation, differential privacy) or strong expertise in distributed systems and ML infrastructure.
• Comfort working in open-source environments, including collaborative workflows, code reviews, documentation, and community contributions.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating across time zones and collaborating with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Strong alignment with mission-driven work and a commitment to privacy, transparency, and practical innovation.
